I remember coming to conference for the first time with my youth group and feeling a little bit scared but almost instantly I connected with other people and felt right at home. I loved the worship and Word the most.
My conference highlight is definitely the fellowship. Serving behind the scenes and being able to build friendships has allowed me to see the goodness of God working in and through people. I always look forward to meeting new faces and getting to know their stories!
My understanding of prayer was never same after the War Cry on the last day of conference last year. We were praying for all the youth groups at conference and I will never forget when one of my friend's youths were on the big screen and everyone started interceding. It was significant for me because she used to tell me about the rough season her youth group had come from But when we started praying, I just knew... I knew God broke chains.
